The Education System
The UK has a vast variety of higher education opportunities to offer students with over 100 universities offering various degree programs for students from the UK and around the world.

In the UK most undergraduate degree programs take three years to finish; however, the “sandwich course” is increasing in popularity, which is four years and involves one year in the work place (normally in your third year). In Scotland the courses are four years in length for undergraduate programs.

Most Post Graduate Degree Programmes take One Year to finish, but there are degrees which may take up to 2 Years as well and change from university to university.
Entry Requirements to Study in the UK
Depending on what program you are looking at, the entry requirements will vary for international students.

You will need to make sure you have a good level of English understanding and you can do this by taking one of the following commonly accepted tests of English ability:

TOEFL - Test of English as a Foreign Language
IELTS - International English Language Testing System

For students applying for UG Degrees, IELTS can be waived off based on their English scores in 12th or A Levels. For PG applicants, at times IELTS can be waived off based on an interview that could be conducted at the Options Unlimited Offices.
