It’s a big decision to study abroad, and we are aware of how lengthy and complicated the application process can sometimes seem. We have put together the chart below to help you through the different parts of the process, so that you can see what comes next and can plan ahead to organize your Visa, bank account and accommodation. At Options Unlimited we have the first hand experience of studying overseas as we have also gone through the same procedure. We help you right from the selection of course till your post departure arrangements.

| Initial Counseling and Course selection |
During your initial meeting with one of the counselors at Options Unlimited, we clear all your initial doubts about your career interests. We discuss academic and non academic pros and cons of the particular courses selected by you. In case you are not clear about what course to take, we will counsel you for the same as well, based on which we suggest you the course and university that would prove beneficial.
Next step is to apply to all universities that are short listed by you

| Application form completed |
We submit your completed application form to the University’s International Office. All application forms should be accompanied by copies of the following documents
- Mark Sheets for 10th, 11th & 12th
- Degree Mark Sheets
- Bio-data
- Statement of Purpose
- 2 Recommendation letters
- Job Experience letter. (where applicable)
- IELTS / TOEFL Scores if exams given
- Transcripts if applicable
- Portfolio for Design courses

| Application form forwarding to the University / College |
All applications are processed by the International Office of Universities you have chosen to apply. As and when the universities receive your applications, we inform you regarding the same, so that you know it has been received. The International Office Applications Team will then contact the relevant faculty or school on your behalf to obtain a decision on your application.

| Offer letter issued if accepted on the Course |
We will receive an offer letter from the University / College if you have been accepted. This may be conditional (asking you for additional evidence of qualifications or a deposit of fee to be paid) or unconditional (showing that we are satisfied with all the information that you have given us and you meet all of our requirements).

| Acceptance of offer by the Student |
In order to accept and secure your place at any of Universities you are required to pay a deposit where needed and to fill up a reply slip which we would forward to the university / college. You can pay in different ways, and our finance leaflet will explain all the different methods. So you will need to return an offer acceptance form in order to have your place confirmed and to receive your visa support letter. If you have received offer letters for more than one course, you will be required to confirm your preferred choice by returning an acceptance form as well as paying the deposit.

| Unconditional Offer Letter (Visa Support letter) |
On sufficing the needs of the conditional offer letter, the university will forward an unconditional offer letter which could be used for visa purposes. The letter details which course you intend to study, the course duration, the annual tuition fee, the deposit amount that you have paid (if applicable) and which campus you will study on.

| Visa application |
We would be assisting you with the entire visa application and processing through our trained team. Visa offices are always very busy from June to September for semester 1 entry, and December and January for Semester 2 entry. This may impact on your ability to obtain a visa in time to start your course. Useful information can be found at Home Office , Uk visas and The Council for International Education. We would require all our students to apply for the visa almost 2 months to 45 days in advance of the course commencing date. For further details our team will guide you through the entire visa form filling, file collating and eventually applying to the VFS in the respective city of residence.

| Other application agencies for specific courses |
Certain courses have their own, separate application systems apart from applying to universities and in such cases students need to apply to independent bodies as well. Some examples are listed below and we will further assist you where needed.
